A New Angel Up In Heaven



Maurice Gibb...1949 - 2003

There's a new angel up in heaven
And he's been given his wings…
To fly high above the earth
And beyond all living things…

There's a new angel up in heaven
A beautiful bird to soar the skies…
And every time we look up at him
He never has tears in his eyes…
He is always smiling and laughing at everything…
And when he gets down,
He helps the other angels sing…
He takes out his keyboard and plays it for them too…
He writes more melodies with Andy,
As other angels pass on through…

There's a new angel up in heaven
And he's one everyone loves to meet…
He's friendly, just like he was at Jimmy's,
Where he use to eat…
For he still asks for the usual and nothing more…
On earth he was a giver,
And now in heaven- he gives the tour…

There's a new angel up in heaven
With a familiar face we temporally can't see..
His name is Maurice Gibb,
And his life and music will live forever- in our memory.
